The Minor B Championship winning team of 1996 are having a get together in Jack's Place this Friday evening. The winning team managed by Martin Howard (RIP) and coached by Martin McKeogh were due to meet up last Christmas to mark 25 years since their win but was postponed due to Covid. It was a pity as one of the players on that side Mark McInerney RIP passed away suddenly earlier this summer. It was a sweet victory for the side as all but 4 of the players had played and lost the 1995 final in a replay. The match report c/o Fergus Donovan shown below.
